The San Francisco 49ers clinched the NFC West and the #1 seed in the NFC Playoff Standings in their gut-check win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17 of the 2019 NFL season. The Niners now get a bye and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Thomas Mott hands out his grades for the 49ers performance in the 26-21 victory over the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Co. jumped out to an early start, leading 13-0 at halftime but Seattle was determined to make a come back. After giving up 14 points in the final 5 minutes of the game, it came down to the Niner defense stopping Wilson on fourth-and-goal with just seconds to play. Defense earned an A from Mott for their Week 17 performance and ability to contain Marshawn Lynch.
Raheem Mostert continued his scoring spree on Sunday with two touchdowns.With those scores, Mostert has now rushed for a TD in six consecutive games dating back to Week 12. Wide receiver Deebo Samiel also has 102 yards and a rushing TD on the day. The offense moved the ball when they needed to, Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t throw an interception and George Kittle was, well, George Kittle.
