This video was made within the framework of the Yaku Warmikuna, Women of the River, the first meeting of the Council of Women and the Family of the Coordinator of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin, COICA held from 21 to 23 February in Yaku Runa, Pastaza Province, Ecuador.
The meeting was a joint effort of the Coordinadora de Pueblos Indígenas de la Cuenca Amazónica – COICA, Conservation International Ecuador and the Tejiendo Lazos project of ALDEA Foundation.
