What’s a typical day in life like for a UND student? Morgan Kainz shows us.
Kainz, a sophomore from Dickinson, N.D., lives off campus with friends. She wakes and makes a quick breakfast before heading to class.
Afternoons are usually spent at class, work, or the occasional meeting with an advisor. UND’s advisors. Kainz’s advice?
“Don’t be afraid to reach out to your faculty. … Most are super approachable and helpful. And at the end of the day, they just want you to succeed.”
In the evening, it’s usually time for studying and dinner, which is made by one roommate each night. (The others have to do the dishes.) Some nights they watch movies. Others they go to UND hockey at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Just another day for a University of North Dakota student.
