KBIS is an inspiring, interactive virtual event that showcases the latest industry products, trends and technologies. Fisher & Paykel were looking for a solution to showcase their brand new appliance range at KBIS Virtual 2021 and engaged Buildmedia to concept and design the experience.

Buildmedia created a virtual showsuite experience that could be streamed to an online platform via WebRTC and accessible via F&Ps virtual KBIS booth. The platform was designed to offer as close to an in-person and specialized experience as possible. Championing the brand’s premium offerings across its indoor and outdoor kitchen appliance portfolio.

The experience included 4 kitchens all architecturally designed to showcase the appliances in the best light. Hot spot locations were included to allow the presenter to quickly navigate to various appliances and outline special features and benefits of their products. A webcam within the interface creates a personal human touch allowing a presenter to be virtually present in the interface. And a chat window was incorporated into the website to allow questions from the audience to be answered.

The ability to freely navigate each kitchen allowed the presenter to customise the experience and needs to their audience.
