How To Drive Traffic To Affiliate Offers:
Website / SEO: Just like every other vertical, Google (and other search engines) are your best friend! Even without the SEO, running a website is still a great idea. It’s the main hub for everything you’re doing. A place to send your social media traffic and all the other traffic, opposed to directly to the affiliate offer.
That being said; you’re going to want to know SEO (Search Engine Optimization). You don’t have to become an “SEO Master” (although you should) to learn the basics. Once you’re able to get content ranked, that content will steadily generate qualified traffic for as long as they’re ranked. Also, organic search traffic converts better than any other traffic sources. This is a reality for every single industry vertical.
Social Media: There’s adult-friendly social media as well as mainstream social media. Obviously it’s easier to market through the adult-friendly social media, but there’s ways to do it through mainstream as well.
This piece of content is geared more towards camming models, but it’s a good piece of content listing the NSFW / SFW social networks:
Media Buy / Ad Zones: It is possible to purchase ads linking to your affiliate links. I’m personally not much into media buy, and there’s reasons why it’s not the best route to go, but it is an option. If you’re good at split-testing copy, artwork and traffic sources, it is something that you could make work. There are also people that do go this route, as well.
Adult Advertiser/Publisher Networks: http://adultindustryguide.com/adult-ads/
Forums / Communities: there’s a forum for practically every fetish available. These forums can be a great place to get a lot of traffic without much effort (no need for SEO)
Email Marketing: YNOTMail is adult friendly, as well as Campaigner. There’s not many other ESPs that are adult friendly. Also, some affiliate programs don’t allow for adult, due to CAN-SPAM reasons.
