This is me testing out my new Canon D5 MKII . I just set it in the usual full auto mode and let it hang on the door of the 4 Runner. Sort of a test to see how it would handle the bumps and the fast tracking. This camera is somewhat of an anomaly as it will “jump” or skip while hand held doing the smoothest possible panning but really didn’t exhibit that characteristic here. I must say that this image really blows away my EX1! I never thought that was possible until I put them side by side on my FCP timeline. The EX looks like DV next to the Canon. I really hated this cam at first but after taking it EVERYWHERE with me the last two weeks I am really loving the image.

Not sure how the EX ( or Z1 ) will mix in as they are really just night and day. The H264 is super hard to render out to DVD BUT !!!! holy cow it is just amazing!

Waiting for some manual Nikon glass to come so I can do what Dan Chung (sp) has shown here … or try.. he’s amazing. Check out those vids the guy is really good.

This is the daily commute to the post office, enjoy:)
